Yeah, good point. The fact that cyclists are using a highway to avoid a cycle path which became unsafe 10 (?) years ago is shocking. Specifically referring to the route from Lagoon Beach through Paarden Eiland and into Cape Town behind the Toyota garage.

I purchased a Garmin Varia 515 and Edge 840 online at the end of last year (I'm also based in CPT). No issues whatsoever. Great price and quick delivery. I had used them before, for smaller purchases, so had no concerns buying more pricey items. 👌

Are these reported to the relevant authorities (PPA, Law Enforcement, SAPS, etc.) or just amongst friends? Not trying to be funny, but I often find that people think by "sharing" what happened, things will just be rectified. e.g. complaining about a pothole or a traffic light not working on <insert social network> assuming it'll magically be repaired the following day.
