    I just finished the Joberg2C with a 1x10 (not a racing snake) front 32 and 42 on the back. It is no ptoblem at all

    Tough day out yesterday but today was better and I felt stronger, met Eraser on the route yesterday

    I did this route last Saturday alone, it was a fantastic ride, my only complaint was when I got to the big dam (bridge on the left) there was no marker ahowing me to go right, I waited for some other riders to come past. A fantastic route through private farms I took my time and did it in 3:15

    I did the 1x10 conversion, losing the 17 and replacing it with a 42 at the back, I am on 32 in front and on the fast flat stuff I miss the 17 as there is too much of a gap between the 15 and the 19, granny gear the 32/42 is almost the same as my ratio when I rode 2x10

    I had a good friend who ended up under those back wheels and got dragged for a while, the driver never even knew he had driven over him, needless to say I stay away from trucks

    Damn, it poured all night. Spare a thought for the riders sleeping in tents, waking up in the rain, putting on wet shoes to ride in the mud again today
