  1. Techguy - Tour de France 2004. Bobby Julich was taking on water bottles for CSC from the team car and also crashed. Kurt, a speedy recovery to you!!
  2. Thanks for the info Trevor. Hope the cyclist is OK. It seems like things are changing for the good in the Cradle area. I hope that future interactions can continue to improve as is happening here. It is great that cyclists and Cradle Residents are putting aside their differences. Trevor, as a cyclist I personally appreciate your and other residents efforts in instances such as the one you posted in this thread. I feel that I can cycle with reasonable safety.
  3. Looks fabulous!!
  4. Very very nice!
  5. What is it with your names down there? TIEKiesdraai????
  6. Some of them drive mildly compared to some people on our roads! Taxi's often drive off the roads to skip the whole queue! I find that amongst the worst are those delivery boys in small cars/bakkies!
  7. Maybe they live in R10 mil houses in the Cradle?
  8. You guys have it easy! I finish work at 5pm! Easy ride tomorrow and then the Fast One on Sunday!
  9. The negative is that you need to take a second bond on your house to buy it!
  10. The Crossmarks have been super for me. And good in the mud. I know because I seek out mud - just ask Nancy Drew! Agteros - get a dishwasher!
  11. That is all very well Trubie but ultimately it is where you get the best price for a product. It is economics. I buy where I can get the best value. Servicing on the other hand is a difference story. That is where you need to build the relationship with a LBS that fits in with your requirements.
  12. I am in B group.
  13. Apparently Trubie saw him this morning with his leg bandaged or so. Not entirely sure though. Andyr2492010-01-21 06:58:48

  15. I think Westdene might have some.
  16. Looks great!!
  17. No. You would need a shimano freebody for the cassette. Not sure if that would fit campag wheels though. Maybe one of the other hubbers can help out.
  18. I would definitly like to do one of these rides someday soon!
  19. Hahahaha! Slave, glad your sense of humour didn't get broken along with your ribs and collar bone!
  20. Glad you are healing well!
  21. And what did she say Holy?
  22. Looks fabulous Anton!!
  23. That bar tape is really cool! I like it. -Kid, so we don't hijack this thread too much the race discussion is moved to our normal ASGR thread.
  24. Ok, great Kid. How about N3 parking lot of SBR on Sat 10th April? Loser buys milkshakes and pancakes afterwards?
  25. I got mine from Summit Cycles. Kid - do you want a race? My on my SL3 and you on your Bianchi? Andyr2492010-01-19 08:54:33
