  2. I like this comment at the bottom....... I how ever do not have a power meter.. In the end it’s simply fun to see your mate in serious pain. All this testing, analysis and bike geek talk is just a way to legitimize the satisfaction resulting in seeing your buddy’s eyeballs pop out!

  4. ok sorry for being a bit vague... i got a training programme from Maryke where according to her my Max HR is 182.5 now if my avg is 83% of my max HR is this good , dangerous or what?

  16. Sometimes we start in Addo(117km to Ann's Villa and back 1400m climb) sometimes at Riverbend(85k +- 1300m climb) a fiend of mine has an airstrip just shout!!

  19. Both Hamstrings or just the one? My problem all of a sudden left hamstring and lower right side backpain........ occasionally gets the back pain but hamstring started recently??

I packed pvm bars and had none....i had one chocolate energy bar at CP 3 i drank oxisport but not a lot maybe 4 bottles (750ml.) but had lots of water and 4 cups of coke.I had one bully beaf and marmite sandwich, a few nuts , an apple and one bananna and then ate what was available at the CP's. At CP 4 i had more sandwiches and did not feel so "sweet" after the event.... thinking back i actualy ate not much , may be i should have push harder
