  1. It all passed in such a blur. I'll latch onto more knowledgeable people if and when I want to explore that back section. Is it marked at all? The normal route that is.
  2. TrailSeeker 70km (66km) ridden in 3h47min. Battling with blisters on my palms from the unrelenting rocks on the descents. Thoroughly enjoyed the route AND drum roll please, the bridge is back in tip top shape! Loved the tracks! Now my question, how much of what was ridden on Saturday is open to me on my usual weekend visits? I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to the names of these routes, but after the concrete strips and we summitted, it was a quick down then left and back up the hill. Is that open normally?
  3. Luckily being midway down a hill with depressions on either side has meant our house has come out pretty much unscathed. Septic tank and french drain has collapsed though. I would have had a beautiful view of Salt Vlei (bulldozer in road with wooden walkway pic) in full flood.
  4. I do remember seeing white shoes on the guy (I was tired and looking anywhere that didn't involve seeing more hills). I started in F batch. You're probably right.
  5. That was a proper ride! Very happy with my 3h47min. Had a serious sense of humour failure on the loop after Greek church. Got my physio booked already for tomorrow. I was feeling too shattered after the ride to stick around, sorry. Karma, were you on that lumo green GT that was creaking and sounding like it was going to fall apart? I passed you just before or after passing jcza after the Greek church.
  6. With the decent from the heavens on the southern mountain range I can believe there would be a few injuries. Nothing like getting your nether regions slammed on the back of the saddle a couple of times. I truly loved the route! Blisters on hands and all, I'd do it again!
  7. This is totally false everyone. I have confirmed with Swartpiet that race packs can still be collected on the day. Substitutions etc will not be entertained as per the website information and info at the start of the thread.
  8. I've collected my race envelope at the 1st and 2nd races on the day of the race so I don't see why it'll be any different this time.
  9. I've just received a phone call from a friend who was told that there will not be a registration table to collect the race pack tomorrow morning with the batch sticker. Nor an opportunity to scan the race number board. We must go to the listed venues today to do this. I can't believe this to be true.
  10. Any more news on seeding emails? I'm still waiting but not so patiently any more seeing as several people have already received their details.
  11. So the road race starts at 6am! And the 70km VG starts at 7:30 .... Man, it's going to be an early morning. Aiming at being there well before 6 then.
  12. It's all working now again! Not sure if it just took some time after refreshing everything or maybe you found something your side Admin? Thanks for the help.
  13. I think you have just hit the nail on the head!We have some ultra strict filter on the go now. Restricts embedded video, the works.
  14. Yea Bob, still not grafting I'm afraid. It has also been falling apart a bit more each day I fear.
  15. I've tried in IE8 and the dropdowns do not work there either.
  16. Right. I've done both ctrl+F5 and shift+F5. Still the same.
  17. Are you also having problems?
  18. I'm enjoying that thread. Get FZed way too often as well.
  19. Browser cache emptied.Cookies deleted and data and other site plug-ins.Still no multi-reply option like before. Forums and Classifieds do not dropdown.I'm using Chrome. Maybe that is the fault?
  20. I continue to have problems. The Forums and Classified dropdowns don't work consistently. There is no multi-quote reply option now. I need to refresh pages to reply.
  21. Pleasure. This was the Saturday that was blowing gales about 3 weekends ago. Made for a tough climb from the shack back to the top as it was into the wind all the way and the road is testing. Not technical though. We also stopped for some peeps from time to time. Fun ride.
  22. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/228787114 I hope this link will work.
