I just think it's very difficult to realize R40k for a used bike on the hub - regardless of what it or the components are actually worth. It is easier, however, to sometimes sell the high end componentry separately and get closer to full value. I would imagine the Zipps are very sought after on this forum...

I would definitely take the Zipps off and sell separately...

Don't think there's an issue with them - Valencia Cycles is in Nelspruit and is quite heavily involved in Mtb in the Lowveld. They usually have very good prices. I would imagine that the sizes they have available on special are what they have in stock on the floor - probably best to give them a call to confirm availability...

Couldn't agree more - fantastic event put on under very challenging conditions - many thanks to all the organisers. Only one small winge - the Powasol bike cleaning was an unmitigated disaster - won't be using/buying their services again To those doing the Great Trek - hope you get to do the full Day 1 - enjoy!

Things that are important to me for an internet store: Off the top of my head: competitive pricing a wider range of products / brands than the typical LBS honesty about stock availability free delivery over a certain (reasonable) Rand value purchase order tracking a clear and concise returns policy a loyalty discount / voucher plan sizing charts for shoes / clothing

As someone with a Highball I know which one I'd rather have for the money...
