  2. whens he's done with MTB , the circus has an opening
  3. I hear your frustration and feel your pain. Unfortunately this is how big business operates. When a business is growing its very customer focussed and value oriented. Once it grows beyond a fledgling business, growth becomes the objective whilst customer satisfaction may still be the objective, delivering more value is not necessarily the objective anylonger. With this event it's clear the target market is the top 5% of earners globally. The brands the event wants to associate with is moving upmarket and therefore leaving the people that helped to promote and support its growth from formative to SME behind and now focussing on a platform to bring captains of industry to the table. Even my boss is surprised that I MTB because he associates it with being a sport beyond what middle manager employees should be able to afford. When I tell him my MTB history he's more surprised because to him its a sport that sprang up 5-6years ago!!
  4. Scott, centurion, momsen, swift, cannondale all converging on a very similar design of single pivot
  5. For early bird they require immediate payment. So they generate R6.7million is working capital in less than 10sec. I should tell me my boss I have this great scheme to generate quick easy money for my project. The. Leave the problem up to the marketers to solve but they have a whole year before anyone is expecting something
  6. ??? The mezcal offers more grip than other tyres
  7. They held absa training camps in January and knew exactly what the routes were like in advance of the event. They even knew about the bee hives that resulted in many riders getting stung badly at the start of day 2
  8. Unnecessarily expensive. Cue gluvsmtb
  9. It's a very effective tool for the job it's intended. Having Stefan Sahm pedaling it really gets us close to the action. Since it's the first time it's been tried I'm pretty excited but the opportunity it brings but surely a similarly equipped off road motorcycle would do as effective a job. Maybe it's just the green appeal of an electric engine that cost more energy to build than a bone r80gs
  10. They wont have the organisation up to scratch so I'm reluctant
  11. quite frankly,I hope Lakata oes get it next year. Platt Sauser domination is utterly boring especially when the winning margins are close to the length of a football match (yes exaggeration)
  12. I do so love to sit and sip coffee and keep the lovely young lass who runs the shop company....<dreamy>

  19. any connection on Di2 or EPC could also break. Wires can be cut or chafe through.. Everything has a weakness. The Red catch lever is also replaceable
  20. and how pray will this happen? Have you seen how the battery fits? Only thing that can break is the battery or the whole derailleur. Going to need quite a knock to break either
