  1. Brilliant! my Buddy and I first ordered his sealant and conversion kits way back in 2001 and I've been using his products since. We've been tubeless since. Stan is a super nice guy to deal with. T used his ZTR Olympic rims way back in the 2005 Cape Epic and those wheels held up to a lot of abuse despite a lot of sceptism from many mechanics. Superb products that have often been copied by the more conservative and less innovative. Chapeau Stan's Notubes. One of the best brands in the industry started with a bottle of liquid and a strip of 3M fibre tape.
  2. Because the process also has to be fair on the sponsors of said rider who are expecting an appearance to deliver against the backing. It's a complex juggling at slowed down by bureaucracy that seems unavoidable. The obvious solution is better tests that can deliver same day results but something has to fund the research into that. Gas chromatography testing is not really portable with a truck of sorts and even so the test takes hours in set up and execution. A "litmus" type test would be brilliant but don't know of any for the compounds in question.the manufacturers could come on board and apply biomarkers to the compounds do that you test for the presence of the marker . Litmus type tests exist for these.
  3. Perhaps people who don't cheat never consider that they could fall foul of the system due to ignorance . Bring naive is not a crime.
  4. So tired of shitmano I'm Red e to tap
  5. so did anyone attend this ride? feedback?
  6. That and the lack of a need for a xd driver body is the cost saving comes in. The shifters are the same as gx1 Crank is a reworked truvativ. Rear derailleur is similar to gx1 with different printing on them
  7. Yes sort of. SRAM don't really compete directly with shimano on group set tiering. Their bud time is too trickle as mush off their high end technology down and spread it across many price points. There's very little difference between xx1 and xo1 but xtr stands alone with xt only sharing some forged components.sram shares whole parts with xx1xo1 and gx1
  8. Says 6 am on the poster but I could be wrong
  9. Clearly your mind is made up so no point in further dialogue
  10. Yes I rode up there late yesterday afternoon and they're actively busy with the extra catch fencing. What is still a worry is the amount and size of stone in the current catcn fencing!! Eish , lucky the currently installed netting is working but looks overwhelmed
  11. no one I know but check out the SAIDS website for the closed cases: http://www.drugfreesport.org.za/cases/ read through a lot of them and there's a common theme of ignorance or not knowing where to find out including not knowing what's in supplements. the bodybuilders cases are mostly clea cut wanting the bulk up and then loose weight to look cool and getting crappy advice from other gym members but the athletics cases shows that there's more that needs to be done to educate people about what's in the supplements and medication. My argument is that the guiding principal of an individual being 100% responsible for knowing what they ingest is flawed on the grounds that the information on EXACTLY what is in a products needs to be 100% disclosed. Only then can that principal be fair.
  12. I'm sympathetic to all of them dopers. Its just a shame they have to dope to feel like they're pro's. All I have to do to feel like a pro is by Euro team kit
  13. you missing the point with your oversimplification. intentionally dope for performance and you get caught. maybe? This person deserves to get caught and have the book thrown at them. unintentionally dope and get caught, maybe? This person does not deserve to have the book thrown at them. But the process needs to be fair to both parties. This requires enough information to be available for a non professional to be able to check with 99% certainty that what they are taking for an ailment is legal and does not contain traces of banned chemicals. This burden of proof should not be onerous on the amateur if the point is to educate and promote good health. Most pro's have resources at their disposal to be able to investigate further and get real answers since most of them have a supplements or nutrition sponsor that has access to the appropriate lab equipment and QC procedures. Excuses for these people agreed are rather thin
  14. any type of gas chromatography (GC) test is going to cost more R3000 in equipment usage. I'm basically of the opinion that if they need scape goats then so be it. eventually hey will just kill the hand that feeds them
  15. Ok well then ya no well.
  16. I think he's just taking the P*ss
  17. In the dishwasher with detergent and warmed water? In the dishwasher with detergent and cold water? In the dishwasher without detergent and warmed water? In the dishwasher without detergent and cold water? I had a Bell Sweep that I washed in the shower with just luke warm water and no soap. It discoloured horribly and the foam became brittle within one year. Omnico replaced it under warranty. The replacement I wash only under cold water tap using the hand Zuma. Haven't had a problem with it till i dropped it and it cracked. Most helmet shells are added in the mould without glue. Having the shell glued on is not a problem if you follow the cleaning insructions. Most helmet manufacturers tell you to wipe down with damp cloth and wash the pads separately. Follow those instructions and any helmet will last the intended lifespan
  18. taken in the context of doping you are assuming that everyone who takes medication is intending to cheat. Strangely most people take medication to either feel better or help their body cope better with the ailment its dealing with. Ailments by nature reduce performance. have you spotted the flaw in your logic yet are would you prefer to swing some handbags?
  19. Only 6? tsk tsk snigger snigger
  20. Yes that sounds like Manuel, Also remember he learn hees a English from a boook
