saw you at the trails as we left, at least I now know what your bike looks like???? started little windy but turned into a lekker day.

Finally fitted a dropper and after only 2 rides I can't believe what a huge difference it makes, jumps and technical terrain is so much more fun.

have had my set for quite some time now and they are bullet proof. I am around 100kg and on a HT with dropper and low pressure 20-22psi, love playing on the trails and they are still true and dent free.

1 thing I have learned over the past 13 years working for myself, it's how you approach and treat people can make all the difference.

My only issue with the race was it started to late. Start the long distance from 7h or close to in summer. That way you are long done before the heat of the day. There was ample water points and well stocked. O and the seeding was funny, we always ride together but I was placed in B and my brother in E but luckily they fixed it without hassle so both started in B.

Awesome view and probably the fastest trail in Cape Town since they have redone it.

Because I did not fall my friends thought they would imitate me before we dropped in ????????

1 van ons het bietjie van 'n breakdown gehad maar, als het goed af geloop. Beste manier gewees om 'n week af te sluit.

yip I have been as ambitious, did my first long race 90 odd km on a Trance. Needless to say I now have a very comfy, light HT cause this weight needs the most efficient way to get to the top????

Ryder is OK it eventually seals after squirting the whole bike full of sealant. Enduro seal works best so far for me(out of Stan's,tyre juice, sludge, Ryder) Enduro seal seals almost instantly anything from devil thorn to snakebite. When it sealed that snakebite is where I was amazed by it, side wall and a good couple of millimetres cut on top sealed no problem.

I like working on my bike the day before a race that way I know it's right. You see so many people running around race morning trying to get their bike to work, or was that just some of you who worked on your bike the day before ???? Everyone makes mistakes mine probably tyre direction, looking for the arrow and still fitting it the wrong way, that's why I never put sealant in before seating my tyres. Just use your head when working on your bike and look what you are doing. If you still get it wrong then maybe you should not be holding tools.

I am sick for the second time this year. I think the ones with little ones around are more likely to get sick more often. The kids get sick quickly and then it's just a game of pass it on. When my brother gets to work and starts with a "blaf" I start doping myself with vitamins. It used to work but not this year unfortunately.

Yes, you can ride any day of the week. The trail centre will be open on Saturdays, and Public Holidays (from 8h00). On the other days, you can buy a permit using the Snapscan code on the door of the centre. Annual permit holders and Tygerberg MTB members may use the trails without buying a day permit. Copied and pasted their reply as it was the easiest way to me.

I had dt Swiss on my bike and I have Hope on the other. I upgraded the bearings on my Lyne wheels and they definitely roll faster than the DT Swiss and as fast maybe little faster than Hope. I have not had any issues with the Lyne set, but what I can say is that Hope is fit and forget. My Hope set is almost 2 years old and still running the same bearings still smooth with no play!
