  1. My better half bailed on Sa Calobra on our first attempt. She didn't listen when I said it was going to be a 2000m+ day and sh@t herself when we had 1000m in our legs before we'd even dropped into Sa Calobra. So we rented a car on our last few days. Did a bit of sightseeing. Then on new years day we ticked off Sa Calobra and drove to Port de Polenca and did Cap Formentor. It was a very special day.
  2. Same Day. New Years day 2019 Cap Formentor
  3. What a road hey?
  4. Shredding the gnar!
  5. We all know these are some It's plural. If you want to be a smart ass you should start by being smart.
  6. Ok Ok Ok. Laaaaaaaast comment on the training programs. There's a Cape Epic training plan on Zwift. It's not so much a training plan but 16 workouts designed by Annika Langvad. I've created all of these 16 workouts into Rouvy. I've only done 2 but as I do them I'll make them public.
  7. Now is the time to cash in those DAD chips and get the artist in the family to bust out a custom lid for you.
  8. These mountain biker types who have everything black... Oh wait. That's me.
  9. My roadie shoes are silver.
  10. They are not white in color but they are white in hotness.
  11. Show the nice people your new shoes that go with the bike.
  12. I've been forced to do a "program" to get strong for Sani (I'm not sure why it's apparently all downhill) so I'm out.
  13. Woah Woah Woah there fella. Drop doesn't mean drop off the road for a bootleggers coffee.
  14. Bru if they go out of business then we have to do that stupid Zwift cartoon game and then we all lose
  15. * Ok Ok last comment on the workouts. Quite a lot of the workouts on the Zwift TT Tuneup plan don't exist on Rouvy but quite a lot do so I'm going to start creating them as I work my way through the plan.
  16. I run my software stuff on my media box which is on my TV and the remote is..... Well a remote so I'm not understanding the need for a place to put my laptop TBH. My laptop is in the bag when im on the trainer.
  17. I just saw something very funny. There's a website called whatsonzwift. Go to the workouts>>Training Plans tab. I'm looking at the TT Tune up training plan. ALL of those workouts are on Rouvy. So you can follow that training plan on Rouvy. I just searched for the workout names on Rouvy and they are all there. *Edit. Ok not all of them but it just so happens that the TT Tune up ones are all there. I looked at Gravel Grinder and they aren't there.
  18. An Ironing board.
  19. The nice thing about Rouvy's trial period is that you don't have to furnish them with Credit Card details. Also the $12 membership gives you 3 logins so if you have mates or family members who also ride they can have full access too. There are structured workouts focusing on FTP etc etc. The missing element is a structured program that tells you what to do on a specific day which is what Zwift has. The zwift programs take the guesswork out of it which is nice but we can all figure out a structured program in 10 minutes if we really want to. There are approximately 3000 routes that you can just ride on Rouvy. Most have video. Some are better than others. You'll see ratings and comments. I'd advise doing the Augmented Reality routes in your test phase which will give you a nice feel for how it is. You can download the route videos beforehand so if you have a not wonderful internet connection the video won't buffer which i enjoy. There are also races that you can join. I've never done one but they are available and anyone can schedule a race on any course for you and your mates. Right now I'm only interested in doing the climbs on Rouvy. I've faved more than 100 and I'm slowly working my way through them. That should keep me busy till the end of the year at least. Another cool thing is the routes are of real roads. Want to know if you can make it up Ventoux? Jump on Rouvy and see.
  20. I've faved a bunch of climbs and I'm slowly working my way through/up them.starting with the easiest ones first. I'm sure most of those are on my list.
  21. Elite have brought one to market already. The rocker plate seems like a cheaper alternative to me if you factor in medical bills tho.
  22. You're a brave man Tony.
  23. Yeah I think the market would be pretty slim for this type of thing. Someone with a dedicated pain cave and a large budget and is already well into the Zwift/Rouvy program. Very nice tho.
  24. And you finally got a road bike with gears!
