  1. This HAS to be bitcoin (can't do sarcasm font on phone)
  2. So my 2c, I financed a 35k bike as well, nice mid spec carbon bike. Cancelled dstv (+- R900pm) cancelled gym and joined a cheaper gym (R300pm) saving. Settled two store accounts (R400pm). All in all I have more disposable income than before the finance deal, also I don't do cellphone contracts, my car is paid off, I rent well within my means and generally I save rather than spend. Point to be made from all of this, debt can be very very bad and keep many enslaved and living from paycheck to paycheck, however when managed properly and accounted for in a sensible budget it can also be a great tool. (I could write a 20 page essay on both sides of this argument this is just my 2c)
  3. Posted this on the Apple watch thread but this seems like a more appropriate place to ask... Want to know from the guys that got apple watch through vitality. To meet the requirements you need card in good standing etc etc. Then also you need R5000 available after the 600 deposit, is that 5k then "frozen" on the card?
  4. Some say he can never meet the stig, for fear of the two entities fusing and creating an unbeatable Moto GP God.
  5. And all of CL, cradle few cyclists, and Saturday don't belong in the same sentence. I am guessing it will be the usual hive of activity!
  6. Anyone identify this little bugger? Found dead in the cradle
  7. Quick question as far as I know Clenbutrol is not prescribed or available in SA for any therapeutic use anyway. So what was Mr chemist doing with it?
  8. I have an interesting philosophy about people like this, if you park your car where you are not supposed to, drive in yellow lanes, skip robots or speed etc you are engaged in lawless behavior. When you feel you can decide which laws should apply to you don't complain if others then use the same reasoning to steal from you, hijack you etc.
  9. Also getting similar feedback from guys using discover insure with driver behavior monitoring. Worth noting that healthy foods exclude some items one would think are healthy foods i.e no salted/roasted nuts just plain raw.
  10. Rule #58 // Support your local bike shop. Never buy bikes, parts or accessories online. Going into your local shop, asking myriad inane questions, tying up the staff’s time, then going online to buy is akin to sleeping with your best friend’s wife, then having a beer with him after. If you do purchase parts online, be prepared to mount and maintain them yourself. If you enter a shop with parts you have bought online and expect them to fit them, be prepared to be told to see your online seller for fitting and warranty help.
  11. I think it is finally solved, patch is DIE MUISHOND!!
  12. I always thought the explanation for this was that everyone finishing over 6 hours is not counted when giving your race position, they are still given a time but not counted as finishers.
  13. My race went superbly by any standard, even though I missed my target time by 7min it is a huge personal improvement for me. Last year took 5h25 this year I put in the training and was aiming for 3h30 ended up doing 3h37 which is still an almost two hour improvement so all in all I am a happy camper!
  14. Also is it just me or were there less people supporting than usual?
  15. Especially avoid stopping at the halfway mess!
  16. Die muishond views DC as a Sunday coffee ride, he is also know to keep the perfect pace line, ALONE!
  17. Die Muishond did the Epic on a Raleigh brought from Marko, he got a podium in the mixed category, solo!
  18. What pace is the twitter ride done at?
  19. Guys off topic a bit and probably on the wrong thread but since this does relate quite directly to 94.7 I thought I would post here. Nirvana for cyclists in joburg aka the cradle is obviously getting very busy as it tends to do every year before 94.7 this comes with an interesting set of problems for all interest bearers in the area 1. The residents 2. The cyclists now recently because of some less than exemplary behavior from both camps things there have escalated and became nasty again, incidents of assault etc. But now for my grief it is apparent that beyon a reasonable doubt someone/s have vandalized the cycle lanes with broken glass, I have never seen so many broken bottles on any road!! Certain groups of cyclists (you know if you are one of them) contribute very directly to the frustration that ultimately leads to the type of behavior. I have seen at leas half a dozen of bunches last weekend taking up an entire lane, and not using the provided cycling lanes, this, as the motorists have pointed out on many occasions, is extremely frustrating for them. More to the point though it is also against the law (riding two abreast in the provided lanes thought is 100%) So my reasoning goes if you want to stop motorists breaking the law (read vandalizing roads) first obey the law yourself, also gives us as a community a foot to stand on, which given the status quo sorry to have to say we don't!
  20. So has equipoise, Stanozolol (winstrol) almost all testosterone esters you can think of, growth hormone etc. Doesn't make it safe/legal/ethical
