I want to sell my Gaggia Baby Class D, same internals as the Gaggia Classic. What would be a fair price for the machine? It has been used a fair bit, but everything works perfectly.

I saw a few mentions to people doing that, I thought of doing that as well or maybe the "latte-art" attachement that screws onto the exising wand.

Thanks, I have joined them. I bought a Gaggia baby class recently on Gumtree with no water flowing out of the grouphead. Took it apart and cleaned the solenoid valve now it works a treat. The problem is that it came with a panarello style steam wand, with my previous machine I managed to steam the milk just fine without it so I am looking to replace or mod it somehow.

Are there any sites apart from gumtree/olx that sells used coffee related items? Or even a Facebook group I could join?

Was it Karina Britz who rode till the cut-off time last year without being close to the finish line?

Morning all, not sure if this is the correct place to ask, so just point me in the right direction if not. Some background: I used to run long distance during my high school career, nothing crazy, the odd 10km here and there and dualathlon, I completely stopped running in my first year of university. I also played hockey throughout my school years and about three years into Varsity, I stopped after an injury to my knee where I decided to rather stop playing. I started cycling about three years back. Over my university career I tried getting back into running as a means to stay fit, but the problem was that I got severe pain in my shins while running. The pain would start anytime between about 200m and 2km. I just assumed I needed to take it slow and rest a bit, but it never went away so i stopped completely and just cycled. Now I am at the point where I don't have time to cycle long enough during the week for me to benefit from it. I want to start running again and went on my first run again yesterday. As usual the pain returned within the first 200-400m, it is just a dull pain in the beginning getting worse as I go on, the pain is on the outside half of my leg and towards my ankle on the front. It became too painful (burning sensation) to continue at about 1km where I stopped, as soon as I stop the ankle feels stiff for a few steps and then return to normal with no pain. If I start again after stopping and the pain went away it would come back very quickly. I hope my explanation makes sense, I want to know what steps can I take to prevent this from happening? I always enjoyed running and want to get back to it.

If you want to carry spares in a bag, a top tube bag is a good solution if you are running a dropper. Topeak makes some decent looking ones.

You could strap the Saddlebag to Maritz's mtb and let him carry your spares

I will probably stick to what I have then, I had the few odd punctures with the saguaro in the rear. I had to plug it about three times however, this was over a distance of about 4000km.

How did the Ardent Race and Icon work out for you? I currently have the Barzo/Saguaro combo and want to try something else, they work great though.

I have no idea how long the back one lasts, I charge that up about every third ride. I think the light that comes on when charging might flash if the battery is low.

It would be great if OP or bike-addict could comment on the outcome of the whole situation. The damage to the linkages was quite extensive, as well as the apparent fork damage, and would be horrible to the reputation of the bike shop if they indeed caused it, and if they caused the damage we should get a heads-up before considering to make use of them.

I am looking for a pair of used flat pedals. I ride with clipless pedals so I don't really want to spend a lot on flat pedals, I really only want it to practice manuals and to learn how to properly bunny-hop.

Word of advice, I charge the front one up before every ride, the battery low indicator comes on very shortly before it dies. Other than that they work great and the rear ones are quite bright.
