Blah blah blah thats all people always do!!! Service comes from two sides, if the shop has messed up give them a chance to fix it, don't be ridiculous with certain claims, as I said it comes from both sides, bike shops know they have to go the extra mile with so many around

They should test at every race, just spot tests but still test the competitors!

Condolences to the family,I was involved in a hit and run two years back, the driver drove into me from the back after cutting a corner but also did not stop and drove away, also a double lane with a rather big yellow lane. I came down at 64km/h, woke up three days later in ICU and had to get reconstructive surgery to my face, my right eye had to be operated on to save my sight as my sunglasses damaged the eye(the doc could not give a guarantee I will see out of that eye until the bandages came off three weeks later), I dislocated my shoulder and damaged the ligaments which have to be operated on now because it got worse. The physical pain and all the scars I have dealt with and live with no problem( take it as battle scars), but the fact that one human can do this to another and just run/drive off took time to deal with, if the driver would have stopped and helped me I would have forgiven as accidents happen. Really Cycling SA needs to wake up and join forces with think bike to stop these type of things!!!

I can't see how this slipped through the tests at the factory without them picking it up.......lets a person think about the testing and research that really goes into a frame or is it all just marketing???

Ok so Bury said yesterday their was 4000 riders doing the different MTB races, don't know how true this is but that amount is waaayyyyy to much. MTB races are normally 2500max depending on the route, they in it for the money!

This event still is rather tough as your constantly almost flat out

Epic is getting to expensive....R25k for next year if you got an entry is damn steep, I agree it is a must do but what justifies a R7k price jump from this year to next year. They don't even travel that much as they stay more than one night in a specific town, Joburg2C, Cape Pioneer Trek etc is going to become more popular in my books!

Sounds like it was the event it usually is!!!!! Pity I couldn't ride this year although I entered(Damn TUKS with their tests on Saturday)
