  1. I had one at school, and it was my last non Yamaha product. Upgraded it to an RZ50LC model in 1981, and never looked back.
  2. Same here. But they do have an impressive amount of routes to choose from. I see they do have a history of the platform freezing, they even advise what to do in the event, on their website.
  3. Tried again this morning. Downloaded the route fine (took a long time though), got riding no problem, just cannot get my Garmin HRM connected. All went well until dropping down to the Blue Route, when it slowed down, froze, got going again very slowly and just did not get back up to speed. After 15 minutes of what looked like buffering, I got off the bike and just gave up. At this stage the stats said I did just on 15km in an hour of riding. I know I am unfit, but not to that extend.
  4. Anyone else having issues getting started on the FulGaz app? Struggled for almost two hours this morning to download the video of the first stage, without success. Gave up on it before throwing my laptop out the window. I have no problem downloading the video beforehand, but to get riding, you must download the stage again (can't seem to find a way to link the already downloaded file with the ride) This then takes a long time, and seems to freeze at around the 60% downloaded mark. Restarted my laptop thrice, reduced the download quality, etc. No luck, so I packed up.

    MotoGP

Won't that put him at an disadvantage, seeing that the satellite bikes performed better than the factory bikes last season?
  6. Edit = Stay out of it Wannabe, not worth working yourself up over this.
  7. After almost two years of living under my bottle cage, I took mine out this afternoon. Only slight surface rust, quite sure nothing a bit of rubbing with a "green scouring pad" will not remove. All the tools still moved freely and separately. Gave it a good squirt with Tool in a Can, and popped it back into it's place.
  8. Contact Marc Rich from Attitude Cycles. He organizes group rides from his shop in Ruwari Centre.
  9. Does the tassels on the handlebars come standard, or is it an optional extra?
  10. These RZ350 wheels/mags is up for grabs. Properly cleaned, sanded down and alu rust removed. Self priming etch/undercoat applied with a few coats of Satin Black spray paint. Lips not polished (new owner can do that himself ) Speedo drive serviced and greased. Working properly (rare to find this in working order) Wheels running 100% true, and only a few small dings on the rims. Needs a new set of Cush Drive Rubbers (there should be 3 x in total, only one currently in wheel). No brake disc, axle or chainring on back wheel.
  11. I'm in love......

  15. Saw a mint RZ350R this morning Blouberg at the Big Bay traffic circle, going out towards Melkbos. Was jabbering like a fool, could see the look of surprise on some of the cyclist with me, especialy one lady in particular.
  16. Poor 1400, what did it do to deserve such abuse.....
  17. By all accounts last nights quake's epicentre was about 10 km north of Malmesbury, and this mornings aftershocks was closer to home, just north of Meerendal Wine Farm, next to Adderley rd. It was not the big one 1900km in the sea, and measured about 2.5. We heard the "boom" of the initial release of energy, and then the shockwaves followed. I was out on the bike this morning, so I did not feel/hear the two aftershocks. https://www.news24.com/news24/southafrica/news/25-magnitude-earthquake-confirmed-in-western-cape-unrelated-to-quake-off-sas-coast-20200927
