SLX M7000 brakesets on special at easybike and evobike for ZAR2,999. New SLX and XT brakesets are ZAR5,000 at the same places.

I'll second this view - the XT M8000 series brakes are crappy. Even my MT500's (budget shimano) that i replaced with the XT's were better.

Another recommendation for the FastTrak GRID at the back - 2.1 or 2.3 should be fine. The latest gen Spez tyres are wider than previously, so you may be happy with a 2.1 but I'd personally go 2.3 GRID.

I'm saving up for a new Fuse as N+1, as they should be sub-R30k (well, obvs not the build in the pic). Any idea when they'll land in SA?
