  1. Or something like Kalahari Challenge, which is rocky AND sandy. Look, you don't REALLY need carbon or 1x11 or full sus or a sus fork or gears or 29er wheels for that matter. Many nutjobs are perfectly happy on single-speed, rigid, steel bikes but the "extras" are nice to have, aren't they?
  2. Bike is a lot of fun - I rode one at Modders on a spez tester day. However, you're completely over-biked at Modders with this machine and better served by a regular 29er. This bike is best for (IMHO): i.the proper gnarly stuff or ii.for a beginner or iii.very sandy / beach riding
  3. FFS, are you not even safe from the carnage at the national champs? Get better soon.
  4. I once had an integrity rear derailleur - that thing was the BUSINESS
  5. + " surprise gift for my son / wife / dog" + "MY courier on his way to collect from you NOW"

  7. Duh. This is cycling. Shaved legs = men's socks Unshaved = ladies range
  8. KLIMT SOCKS - now, i truly have seen it all.
  9. LUCKY YOU! I still haven't received a single Team Vitality cashback, despite numerous queries, supplying of the relevant event info and various undertakings that payment would be made. Loyal customer but Vitality is starting to test my loyalty.
  10. IMHO, you should gone for GOLD with the Eagle
  11. Team Vitality was ZAR600 this year - is that right? Also, no race cashbacks due to a "technical problem", despite me repeatedly querying my lack of cashbacks. They also refused to pay my chronic meds in Dec, which i collected 2 weeks' early due HOLIDAYS, for pete's sake. Their admin is really starting to get completely bunged up...
  12. To be fair, this is from the "Press Office" and not a gear review.
  13. Yeah, of course it should read: 9 = nine = nein = no.
  14. 9 = "nein" = "no" in German...apparently
  15. Agreed. They are wholly incapable of making a half-decent coffee beverage (translation: the coffee is k@k).
  16. The BIG money is in cashback from your life insurance premiums if you're at a specific status (via integrator, i think). I'm getting circa ZAR50k back in premiums in Feb, which doubles up to ZAR100k if i put it into a Discovery RA. ZAR100k (tax free) for doing a few tests that are helpful anyway - sounds like a good deal to me.
  17. Well, i got a whole 300 - YES, THREE HUNDRED - points for 175km's (9hours) of Desert Dash. Stick THAT in your pipe. Woohooo!
