The frame looks like it was touched up or sprayed. The depth of the paint flake would be down to the carbon.

Frame is upside down so maybe cable rub.

Looks like a crack to me.

I can offer you R500.

Looks like a good deal for R150. But sometimes you get what you pay for.

Take the seat post out and see if the crack goes through. Or put soap water on the crack and blast with compressed air on inside.

I have also made use of an old dude street cobbler down at our taxi rank. Still many of these guys around and they do a proper old school job. Maybe ask your domestic or garden help they will know where to find these guys.

If it is just the velcro thats a problem and shoes are still good. Try replacing the velcro. Your local laundry should be able to do this or try some of the shoe shops out Azaadvill side.

Track bike nuts should/ might have a fine threads. Maybe @Loose cogcan advise as i know my Dura-Ace hubs are fine threads.

I have a 16" Avalanche 26er ATX575 I can let you have it for R2500. The bike is New Old Stock from when Avalanche made good solid bikes Has Shimano Deore 9speed with Hydraulic brakes fairly good spec for R2500 has had a full going over and all is in 100% working condition. Maybe Hub land can have a look and advise on this.
