Was this the euroway that was on FB for R2500 with missing handle? Thule do not list that part as a spare and will not replace or repair it. I have repaired a few but you need to modify the mechanism. Cut out the origanal mount you need to buy a frame for a Thule RideOn and cut that mount out weld the mount into the euroway.

Throwing the Shimano away and replacing with Campagnolo should resolve your problem 😂

It happens more ofter than one would think. High-end bikes end up pawned for quick cash then sold when owners can't pay. But yes stolen bikes end up in the mix.

The user that posted the ad works for Cash Crusaders. he posts plenty of goodies for them the bike is available at the shop. don't see anything off about the add or bike.
