    my foot still in its kannon so no running as yet.mite go through and do the 3 km swim and take the mtb along.

    2 piece tri suite(because i look like oros man in onepiece).wear under wetsuite. but do try it out before the time. my first im was with speedo and polly shorts way back so to each his own,but 2 piece works for me.

    i dont understand this whole doping thing or the timing of the results.i just hope beer and boereworsrolls stay of the doping list otherwise i am toast.

    910 xt all the way for me.but then again this is the only one i ever had so cannot compare to others.no probs with mine and delivers more than enough info.

    i sent them 2 emails as to how and when and payment.did not get any response.got hold of a few articles and some videos.busy trying it out with trial and error.still early days.just difficult to see what i am doing.

    i do not ride with a helmet because it is a law or not or ppa says i have to wear one,i wear it because of common sense.

    according to the Burger the matter was mediated on the basis of an apology and monetary compensation.It did not state who apologized or who paid.Mediation is a process that is followed at court when the 2 parties sort of kiss and make up.

    it can be prepaired but be prepaired for possible bigger troubles if it goes while riding.personaly would not repair and ride with it

    the alt is to go and ride on the coldest day you can find with as little clothing as possible.all rides thereafter will feel warm and just think i have seen worse.

    the wind chill is a bitch so if you put anything on never forget the windproof thing in the end.layered clothing works for me with fleece socks and warm gloves.i try to keep the ears warm as well.so ears,hand feet.follow dale's advice and you should be fine.

    3 years ago at stormsriver traverse was very cold and rained and rained.my team mate went the newspaper route.every evening he looked like those upper body tatooed rugby players from nz.

    but then again these are the people who charged you R 35 onto your ticket for wrapping even if there is no wrapping facility available.

    i have had my stuff"lost"on SAA before as well..I have seen on carte blanche how the baggage handlers zap some stuff.My question is what is SAA ACSA or whoever is in control doing to curb this problem.is there not cameras sort of everywhere?

    common sense unfortunately cannot be bought or taken in pill form.yes also a pet hate of mine.

    i normaly dont swim with it as it does not give hr readings during swim.had a blonde moment the first time.swam with it,no hr reading,climbed out of pool and licked the sensors to wet,back in pool,could not stop laughing at myself for wetting it.read the instructions later,no hr during swim.twit.

    washed the strap,no rust to be seen anywhere outside.still nothing,nada,kapoet,f all.humour failure on a friday morning. let my start looking for a replacement it seems.

    as a last resort i will wash the belt this afternoon and see if that does not perhaps help.

    tthey took off the piece that clips on and put the belt onto a machine with the electrodes tested.that is kapoet.yes i swim in salt water about 2 times a week.no chesthair. they will sell you the belt for R700 and just over a R1000 with the transponder thing that clips on.

    have 2 garmin belts and had both tested.the electrodes no longer working on both.what causes this? will just have to fork out the R700 for a new belt it seems
