I have been a funrider for the last 15 years, but just as you in the MX sport where (i Think) you have a lot of experience, if you hear people that started recently, or never raced at a certain level, making comments that you think is stupid, you will probably tell them something. I think if the SA public had less of a funrider (inexperienced in racing) mentality we would have better and more pro's. Our racing caters for funriders, officials havent sat on a bike in their live, dad funriders try and make champions of their junior kids ... Before funrides SA had Ertjies, McIntosh, van Heerden, Benekes and a lot of others. I meant that league riders are the racing people, you are the guys that must sit in the gutter, that must follow a jump untill your lungs wanna burst. So u one of them. But how can a F or Z rider that never rides a gutter comment on the racing aspect! Like Popeye that thinks if a elite rider is an hour down he has rolling closure! It now seems that there were cops stopping cars before the bunch. That is a rolling road closure. Now Bellairs want to DQ those riders racing in a pro tour race in the top 10 behind cop cars.
