  3. walkerr - I'll be following your experiment with interest. Of late I have found that on the longer (>6-7 hour) rides that I do I get more and more nauseous as the rides goes on. A nutrionist I see here in Durbs suggests that it is die to excessive carb build up in my gut. It got so bad in PBP 2011 that by the time I got to Brest anything that I ate or drank I vomited out straight away. As a result I ended up missing the Brest cut off.

    IM Zurich

    I am likely gonna be in Switzerland at the end of July so I was thinking why not do IM Zurich - I am doing IMSA this year so would be able to benefit from all the training I have done. Missus was super excited because she'd get to come along as well. Got as far as the entry fee in the registration process. CHF 765 + 6%admin fee = ZAR 9750 t I guess it's IMSA for the next few years

  13. cracked my Giant Anthem 29er at Eston on Sunday Took it in to the LBS at lunchtime yesterday. was given the opportunity to pay the difference and upgrage the frame. they are taking a frame off of one of the bikes on the shop floor and fitting all the bits & pieces from my old bike to it at no cost. only cost to me is the upgrade. Am collecting my "new" bike this evening

  16. i had a muk n druk camera, a garmin and a cell phone that i chrged most days. i put all of then in an old darc's glsasses case connected to a multi usb adaptor, which then had the plug on the outside. agreed, after the issues this year with items being stolen, the guys will make a plan for next year (just not the old tannie and her container that was at mackenzie this year - it took longer to stand in that que than the que for food)
