Have to agree with Camerons on these - i have them on the Planet-X Stealth Pro Carbon and have done 2 IM's and 3 1/2's on them with no complaint. Got them off the UK website - delivered no problems. Also ordered spare spokes with them, but have not yet had to replace any.

ja - it ended up being 58 km - 50 of tar and 8 of dirt road. we had some dude from JHB bitching and moaning that he had to ride extra good fast ride - 29er was a demon even with cancelling the main race they were able to raise over R200 000

got mine for R31k with all the upgrades (wheels = tyres & slime, saddle, peddles & bar ends)

I am loving my Giant 29er I went for the white/ble option (not keen on all that bling silver) I swopped the saddle for a fizik gobi, and changed the wheelset to Mavic C29ssmax's Did karkloof and Giants on it.
