If the road is busy, yes. No sense in hacking-off the already aggressive motorists, which is what you are going to do by riding abreast. That is the reality, regardless of equal rights as road users. If there is not enough room for a car to pass single file cyclists safely then you are taking excessive risk riding on that stretch of road, and the group should at least take cognisance of that and break up into smaller groups until road conditions improve.

Talking to an LBS today, apparently the Sigma agents have sold out of Karmas in the last day - they had stock yesterday morning, and whilst I spent the last 24 hrs cogitating on the decision to buy, they sold out....damn!
