Edit> Good news, at least the frame has reached our shores.... Santa Cruz only made them for 3 years, and I have been dreaming of this conversion for ages. All thats missing now are wheels. This is the direction I'm going With a paint job stolen from Mr Minaar, Hey Greg, if you see this….Thanks and ….. Sorry! Wheels are gonna be an issue! Watch this space! (will post photos as i go) Strip, polish, apply decals and simply wax the frame. Clear coat not necessary.For now, use the old derailleur as a tensioner, use the current chain as well. Us the small ring (is it a 39T?) with a 16T cog. It's a lekker all-round ratio. Remove the big ring and use some washers behind the chainring bolts. Get a proper cog and spacer kit from rapide.co.za - a tensioner too if you don't wanna use the derailleur. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
