Can't wait for the Epic prologue. Will be shouting for them. By time somebody local took the initiative to do a movie like this. Can't wait till the release.

For the early birds, Kev and Dave will be interviewed on Expresso Morning Breakfast Show on SABC3 between 6 and 7am today.

I saw the first bit of the interview and the bit of this movie. Hope the rest of the movie is the same quality.

Good luck to them both. My money is still on a little kzn south coast booitjie and CS.

Definately will pay to see the movie though.

One question though It seems I got it wrong. They riding the Scott 29er hard tail and not the f/s spark. I know they are super fit and tough as nails but a full sus 29er with an extra 3kg is surely better for the body over such a heavy race?

what u guys think?

I think when you racing at that level, weight is everything, these guys are also masters at recovery so I am convinced they will take the weight saving (Thus time saving) over the fatigue any day, they do in 4 hours what most do in 6/7 hours so the fatigue and body abuse is a bit less. This is according to the science of Mackie..

I'm lucky enough to have the day off, took a morning ride in tokai finished off around 12, and guess who i saw while hosing my bike down, i got a polite wave from KE. I had just finished riding and felt like going again, but i can guarentee they would of been gone before i even thought of going.

Nice to see these guys in the 360 life kit, with all smiles, and friendly wave...

All the best for the EPIC gents!!!

If you're in the Western Cape this Sunday, you really should pack a lunch, dust off your bicycle or walking shoes and head to Tokai Forest for the first day of the Epic: http://www.cape-epic.com/starttimes.php. It will be a Prologue time-trial of 27km along trails most of us get to ride every weekend.

I know the all the African riders would love your support. So bring a flag/vuvuzela and warm up those vocal cords for Dave, Kev, Burry, Adrian, Mannie, Brandon, Shan and all the others from our continent.

Here's the spectator's guide: http://www.cape-epic.com/content.php?page_id=189&title=/Spectator_Guide/

We'll be on the mountain and at the start/finish filming. So come say hello.

Dont worry I seem to have found the answer to my question.. Seems the Pro's start just before 12, So I'll go around 10, get up to the spots in about a hour, then the buildup..Cool thing is one should see them come up and down, not just pass once.
