Well that didn't go to plan for Redbull and Alpha Tauri.

Congrats to Ferrari. They have a very sorted race car.

Sainz and Le Clerq raced what seems to be a flawless race. Well done to them. The best team won.

I'm a little bit disappointed in the failure of the RB's, but that is largely offset by the good looking Red machines bossing the entire weekend.

Reliability is the number one thing that can scupper all your efforts. Finishing 4th is a solid compromise instead of your car failing 2 laps from the finish and not scoring any points at all. LH will be relatively content with a head-start on Max for the season fight.

Fingers crossed RB can find the cause of the problem so we can have a 3-manufacturer fight for the title this season.

Seems secrets out, but the denial continues...

With Red Bull describing the issue as a "fuel pick-up problem", which could be seen as clever wording - after all, no fuel to pick up can cause a "fuel pick-up problem" - RacingNews365.comasked the team to address the rumours about their fuel loads.

Whatever the case, I for one wouldn’t be surprised...

So, on to Jeddah we go!

The title is a bit clickbait-y because it's still speculation, but Scarbs also knows his stuff and it's likely that the new E-10 fuel is at least partly to blame. Scarb's theory of a vapour lock causing pickup issues could be accurate.

Apparently RB also didn't really do low fuel runs with testing / practice.

Nice to see Alfa Romeo doing unexpectedly well with even the rookie Zhou placing well.  Am a bit of an AR fanboy having had a few quick ones.  Zhou tenth in his debut race, what’s (edit: who’s) the highest placing rookie in his debut F1 event (edit: and where did they place)?

in my “era” from 80s I would say Villeneve or Hamilton. Both scored well. Magnussen did too iirc.
