mrbaker Posted April 2, 2011 Share Sad news guys... I was riding home at about 17:30, crossing Klipriver & Swaartkoppies in JHB south.I came across an accident where a roadie had just been hit by a truck. The paramedics were there, but he didn't make it. I didn't go to close to the scene, all I can say is he was a roadie, probably 35-45. My sincere condolences go out to his family...

Grebel Posted April 3, 2011 Share RIP. Reading all these notices about cyclist being killed makes me wonder of riding on the road is even worth the risk nowadays. Maybe I should quit while I am ahead and stay offroad... Condolences to the family and friends.
