SOmehow this turned into a thread about everyone else's fantasy...I digress..

I have the Giant TCR Avanced ISP. I rode a Litespeed Titanium before that. The stock geometry did not suit me.

Of all the off the shlef bikes, the Giant best fit my dimentions. I havenot been sorry.

I found it be a more responsive and better handling bike than the Tarmac.

I've not tried the De Rosa Idol but it would have to be an incredibly special bike to be better than the Giant.

It's also worth considering the fact that Giant produce about 70% of the worlds Carbon Fibre framesets. Clearly other people who sell bike think they know something about building bikes in Carbon fibre...

it would still be my first choice..

A friend of mine has one of these, just a different paint job.  Paid R24 000 for frame and fork.  Have to say it looks flippen nice with deep section wheels and campag groupo....

Basically R15500
Soooooo hot...but warranty worries me, seeing as you cannot get it in SA easily. Also Reckon Dura Ace on a frame like this will be sacrilege...

Where can you get the de rosa for R15 500?
