GoLefty!! Posted November 16, 2007 Share SOmehow this turned into a thread about everyone else's fantasy...I digress.. I have the Giant TCR Avanced ISP. I rode a Litespeed Titanium before that. The stock geometry did not suit me.Of all the off the shlef bikes, the Giant best fit my dimentions. I havenot been sorry.I found it be a more responsive and better handling bike than the Tarmac. I've not tried the De Rosa Idol but it would have to be an incredibly special bike to be better than the Giant. It's also worth considering the fact that Giant produce about 70% of the worlds Carbon Fibre framesets. Clearly other people who sell bike think they know something about building bikes in Carbon fibre... it would still be my first choice..

shaunh Posted November 20, 2007 Share Don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but the De Rosa & Raleigh is the same frame. Is this true?
javadude Posted November 20, 2007 Share I don't think so Shaun. Brandon mentioned some time ago that the Raleighs are built exclusively for them.

_Daemon_ Posted November 20, 2007 Share as far as I know the DeRosa's are hand build in Italy...so doubt it's the same as Raleighs..
shadowchaser-d Posted November 20, 2007 Share Which is the best between these performance wise? Cause they are all priced close to each other and I love the way each one looks....so.......http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/5836/tcradvancedteamframenn7.jpgI can get it for R15k. So cool!http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/4415/tmprofrmbluetintfooz9.jpgAbout R14k...but this is the Tarmac pro' date=' not the S-works, where as the Giant frame is the top of the range....still love the way this frame lookshttp://farm1.static.flickr.com/167/439047507_affbc19015.jpgBasically R15500Soooooo hot...but warranty worries me, seeing as you cannot get it in SA easily. Also Reckon Dura Ace on a frame like this will be sacrilege... [/quote'] Where can you get the de rosa for R15 500?
