As background, there is a lot of bull/snake oil in this industry, we obviously learn to adapt and be careful.

 

We also often spend money on stuff that gives marginal benefit. This is a fact of life, not just in cycling.

Same for audio, photography and many other hobbies and gadgets.

 

Now why is it that people do not like white MTB shoes when in my opinion there is a real benefit of your feet being kept cooler. I pick up this big thing against it.

I have just taken the leap and bought white mtb shoes (shimano m240) - they were the only ones the fitted and were comfortable...as for cleaning will cross that bridge later...

Riding in red soil clay/mud stains them even if you clean them when you get home.

I have black and white Shimano shoes and will never buy white again for Mtb.

its look good while its still white , but once the kilo's start to show it looks old.

 

Lets say, ""Ït ages so much quicker""

 

But, as said before, I you can afford to buy new shoes often, than go for it.

 

its just not a good long term investment.

We do Not wear white shoes and we most certainly do NOt drink pink drinks. The reasons are the same.

If Elton John, Nataniel, Freddie mercury - they all ride MTB with white shoes....

 

Notice a trend <_<

 

I bet Rock Hudson wore white cowboy boots.
