I bought a fox fork a month ago.But have no clue on how to cut or fit it.

Last saturday after my training ride, I went to CW Cycles, (13h15) and asked them to cut and fit the mtb fork. No appointments, just want it to be done.

I spoke to Steven, 3 min later my bike was on the teckies work bench, 30 min later it was cut, swopped, pumped and on my bike.

That is what you call = CUSTOMER SERVICE

Steven !!!! DANKIE

Damn, 30 minutes? Were they on a go-slow? :D

maybe they thought bugger this guy he walks in with no appointment so we will take our time  so took 30 instead of 20min LOL, but being cwc with such super service they couldnt be ridiculous and take normal bike store time which would be about a month at my guess :P (if your lucky that is)

Yeah i have kept Leroy/Richard and Shaun busy on a couple occasions with some suprise visits some of those visits they helped me out even though the shop A was not even open yet or B the shop should have closed 20 mins ago.

Flip, you can find a bike shop open after 13H00 on a saturday ? One LBS has a sign the says "gone riding",which I kinda appreciate.

Where do you live? Ours are open till 5 on a Saturday and some till 12 on a Sunday.

Took my frame in so they could see what headset size i needed. They took frame, said this will fit I said cool I will buy it, they dissapered for a few minutes (I thought they needed the code for the part for the till or something) and they came back with headset in frame ready to go. I wont say the price as no-one will believe me but it was cheap.

you need to remember that they took of the old fork, cut the new one and also get disturbed by the young lucious ladie's that hangs around in the shop.

Short mini's, thin ankles.... eish oubaas, mooi was nog nooit leelik nie.

Sunday morning (yes indeed) I've been into Circle Cycles in Fishhoek with a wobbly 1980s headset. They found a piece from an old Hansom, stripped the set, refitted everything - and then didn't charge me for anything but the coffee (they do a good cup).

Cape Town bike shops rule!
