deanbean Posted November 7, 2014 Share Another rather disturbing argument I heard from a German colleague is that if we dont give it to Shell we can be assured the Russians and the Chinese will be here next and we all know how fond our government officials are of chinese and russian bribes This guy reckons Shell will at last try to clean up after themselves. The fracking will enable us to do that as well. I'd FAR rather have Shell do it than the Chinese or Russians. There are things that you have to take with a pinch of salt, and dig deeper before accusing a company of masterminding or disregarding damage such as this.
