Its sad, you sort of think to yourself, they wont be going anywhere again where they need to take a suitcase....Also, you think, what must it feel like to pack out your suitcase for the last time....

Or the cases are there in the hope of leaving or at least going away to visit someone.

I would rather vrek than be made to live in an old-age home. My grandfather was the same. He lived on the farm until he died at 82.

I will never allow myself to go to an old-age home. Would rather take my own life...

The sad thing is that you could count the number of visitors that they get in a year on one hand... The lost generation tucked away in some sh!thole that everybody depended on at some point and that nobody gives a damn about right now.

Very, very sad.

******* WAKE-UP CALL OF NOTE!

indeed....but dont lose sight of the bigger picture here.....in many instances these old people have it good in relation to what we will be faced with. My mom is head nurse in an old age home - she is 70, she has about 4 qualified nursing sisters as support - all over 50 and then there are the nursing aids...who are just there for a cheque at the end of the month......when all these old dedicated nurses retire we are gonna be in *** ........

The pinstripe over the headlights looks stupid, i think they were drunk when they designed it.

that'll be a massive hit on the 'flats. The more pinstripes the better.

A MAN offered sex to Australian cricketers after breaking into their hotel rooms during the current World T20 tournament in Sri Lanka.

The 21-year-old Sri Lankan, named as Abdul Karim, was fined 1000 rupees ($7.30) and handed a one-month suspended jail term after he pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking and entering.

The man breached supposedly tight security on Monday at the luxury Cinnamon Grand hotel in central Colombo, where the Australians are staying.

"The man had gone into a player's room offering his services as a male escort," a police officer involved in the case said. "The player refused and he barged into another room when the Australians alerted hotel security."

you notice how he went straight to the aussies..........

Now if he barged in wearing sheep skin slippers I am sure this story would have had a completely different ending!
