My grandfather was the same. He lived on the farm until he died at 82. I will never allow myself to go to an old-age home. Would rather take my own life... The sad thing is that you could count the number of visitors that they get in a year on one hand... The lost generation tucked away in some sh!thole that everybody depended on at some point and that nobody gives a damn about right now. Very, very sad. My mom is head nurse in an old age home - she is 70, she has about 4 qualified nursing sisters as support - all over 50 and then there are the nursing aids...who are just there for a cheque at the end of the month......when all these old dedicated nurses retire we are gonna be in *** ........
