You know it's going to be a long day when your Monday starts like this:

Client: Thanks for emailing me that form to complete. I made a mistake on it while filling it in; please could you send me another copy?

Me: Um, why not just print it out again from my original email?

Client: Oh… yes, right, thanks!

I had a person email me once, asking to re-PDF the A1 drawings to A3 so they can print it at their office.....

I cc'd in his boss explaining how the shrink-to-fit function works

I guess he got it right, because he didn't ask for the A3's again!

I also had someone ask to resubmit PDF's because they couldn't make out anything when they printed. Turns out they were printing A0 to A3 trying to take quantities.

I always do a PDF submission with my Hard copies....issued A1's to the contractor last week and he then printed A3's and wanted to also measure off them!

Fortunately I have learnt from previous experience that when doing the scale on a drawing always indicate the sheet size. i.e

FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT

Scale 1:50 @ A1

The Million Dollar Homepage contains only a single image. That image is a giant, ugly, expensive advertisement. And that giant, ugly advertisement made some college kid in the UK one MILLION dollars.

The idea is simple: Create a 1,000,000 pixel image, and sell those pixels off for a dollar each (in blocks of 100). People are free to use those pixels to link to advertise whatever they want (online casinos and scams mostly, it seems). Every single pixel sold out, and Alex Tew of Wilshire England made a cool milli. How could he make so much off of something so dumb? Because he thought of it first
