Deep down, you know you want it...

Some have it, but does it look as cool as this loft conversion...

Mate of mine, cycling home Sat morning across the Cambridge road bridge, came across a taxi, on it's side halfway through a garden wall. A lot of the passengers were sitting dazed on the side of the road. As the ER24 offices are just across the bridge, he cycled there and met an ER24 'person' in ER24 overalls standing outside the ER24 office. He duly told her that there was an accident around the corner and that he was not sure if anyone had contacted them yet. She told him to phone 084 124. When he asked if this was their office, she said Ja but that she was on a break........

I was at the MTN/Toyota/PWC bike park one afternoon when a guy fell off a bridge on Rollercoaster, breaking his ankle badly. The Bike Park (at the time) was contracted to ER24, so they called them. It took 30min for the medics to arrive (the ER 24 dispatch is just down the road).

When the medics go there they asked where the injured person was. We pointed them towards the trails and said we would take them there. They then refused, saying they are worried about snakes. After about 10min debate they muttered under their breath and left. During this time another bike park patron called Netcare. Netcare was there within 15min with a recovery 4x4 so that they could drive down to the patient. The 4x4 wasn't needed, they stretchered him out. But they were prepared just in case.

If I ever have a bad lie-down on my bike... please don't call ER24

Netcare is still da bomb! Have made use of their services a couple of times after unplanned and chaotic dismounts. Free morphine on site
