That Barrett can hit targets at 2km so you won't here the shot but you might see the muzzle blast.

 

MythBusters had a show on that. IF you are close enough to see the muzzle flash, its game over for you. You can't react fast enough to get out of the way. So with this cat in the bushes, one second you'll be alive the next you're not.

Not really,it's when you don't see them that you worry.

That's a posed pic,cammo is all wrong on the rifle.

had the pleasure of firing it in all the configurations. BLIKSEM it was lekker.

Only thing is that they are getting used against civilians in Syria.

I managed 5 shots in a 30cm group at 1000 meters.

It's a awesome rifle but to heavy to carry around for long periods.

Yeah, was just reading that. With limited ammo and single scope, two people is a stretch.
