Just Keep Pedaling Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 If he used EPO then so did everyone else. Still makes him a great athlete. I doubt he used EPO though...would have showed up on tests - especially since they probably have old blood samples they can retest.

E1A104 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 How certain are they/we that he was the most tested athlete? I wonder if any stats are available? Accepting his word for it is just daft. My (limited) understanding is that the first EPO tests did not actually look for EPO but an increased haemocrit level (anyone out there with more info) and it was based against an arbitrary figure of 50%.
