Here are some snaps from the Cape Epic this year. All taken on an iPhone 4 using Camera+, some with a 'Clarity' effect which adds a pseudo HDR look.

Perhaps you also took your's the day you got a new camaera and were hunting in the garden for photo-ops? Some different flower pics: Agapanthus, unknown daisy type floating in mid-air, and raindrops on aloe... The aggies are terrible to capture as you need such a big depth of field to get their 3-D effect, but you still want a blurry background; any tips from out there ?

Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Some Pics My cousin took. Hah! That 2nd one is almost EXACTLY like one my brother in law took approx 3 to 4 years back. It's hanging on my wall at home at the moment, printed on an A1 canvas. Only thing different is that he lay down on the tracks to take it, and used a very small aperture so that only the tracks were in focus. He also took it a bit closer to the centre of the track area, and the shot is level. Also in B/W :thumbup:
