Go for Campag. Yes it is more expensive but lasts longer than Shimano. And the shifting is solid.

I will not go back to Shimano.

Please stop this tread, If oomH see this again, its going to be a ugly and bloody day.

Ok, lets put it to rest:

1) Campy

2) SRAM

3) Shimano

(the shimano guys, give then this fight, we know what we use and why, some texan boys won the Tdf for 7 years with shimano)..

So let them believe campy is best. You do not tell the enemy why your tank is better, you just go into the battlefield, kick their asses and go back home, sipping beer.

the best groupset is the one that works the way you prefer it too.

if you like cluncky heavy shifts with slightly spongy brakes, then go Campag

if you like light easy shifts and solid brakes, and comfy hoods then go for Shimano.

if you're an early adopter who likes 50gr less, zooty detailing best ergonomics but the ugliest crank, then get SRAM Red..

Like my SRAM.... until my wife's bike came with record levers... man that's one smooooooth shift that SRAM does not have. Mate of mine put record on his bike before 94.7 with carbon cranks and spidey brakes..... eish!

MWNN wonders how the Black Beast will look with full record.....
