I can tell you that those Contraband frames are what G. Usher and co are going to be bringing in. They are steel and only available in the brushed steel look. Suited to both 29er and 650B wheels with EBB and they are a sweet ride. Will be available from early next year. 4bar can correct any facts I may have wrong here... I could pedal up the hills pretty easily so it aint too heavy... the bike really comes alive on the single track and is very agile through the bends. Did not feel as comfortable on the downhills cos of the slightly steeper head angle. My commencal had a slacker head angle so it felt amazing downhill. However the bike still ate up the downhill. I ended up paying over 3k for what I thought was gonna be a 2k wheelset from superstar but I'm not dissapointed at all. They look very well made and light.
