Thanksthumbup1.gif

I'm constantly taking this bike out for +60km pedals and find myself grabbing this bike more often out of the quiver than any of my other bikes.

I don't know how I will ever do this bike justice as she really comes alive when pointed downhill and the going gets fast devil.gif

Amazing what 7" can do in the rearw00t.gif

jdb10810 I dont mean to rain on your parade but should you take some of those spacers out underneath your stem and drop the bars a bit you might find some extra cornering traction in the front whistling.gif

Nice. You can get BB mounted chain guides so ISCG isnt a barrier.

Hi there,

The Monarch is behaving very good so far, it is the Monarch RT3 High Volume. I am really satisfied with the suspension performance of the Shova, and my previous frame was an Intense 5.5, so I know more or less how good suspension should feel.

I actually did just that not so long ago. The bike was only built up like that & had to take it out for a few spins just to get the feeling of it before cutting down too much of steerer.

Atm I've got only a 15mm spacer in there with the stem upside down too.

Feels much better.

I besides bearing replacements - how does the 5.5 compare to the Shova?
