Hi Guys

Help needed please?

Does anybody know where I can purchase iron on, sew on and stick on reflective tape in the Durban area?

3M does not stock this product!

I would prefer prismatic tape if possible.

Thanks

We have the following in stock, plus we will be getting in alot more.

Solas self adhesive tape 50mm wide R37per meter - same stuff used on life jackets etc, Relects bright white

25 mm glossy neon yellow (plastic feel) - Scotchlite prismatic reflective tape used by road officials - R10p/m

These are the 2 best ones for now. The others that we have are cheaper, but the reflective part is painted on and eventually it does come off. Hopefully we will get more in the week.

For iron on and stick on, you are wasting your time going to Midas or Builders. You need to go to a material shop. Dunno what you got in durbs, but here you'd go to something like Chamdor Factory sales for iron on and sew on stuff. You must have some big material warehouses there? All the stuff land sin Durban.

Otherwise try to get you a reflective bib. Try a chinese shop for a cheap one

Yeah, but you get what you pay for. The cheap reflective bibs discolour too easy. I'd rather go to a material shop, get a decent quality reflective mesh and some reflective tape and sew up my own. Maybe buy a cheap one to knock a pattern off of?

Been buying rolls of reflective tape from builders for years now . Use it on our trailers and that stuff WILL NOT come . Our's stock the yellow and red ones at about R400 a roll .

Try contact Heasloop Agencies in Pinetown, They are at 9 Railway Street, Pinetown 031 714 3333

opposite the Pinetown Satation just down the road from the back entrance to old Imperial Hotel. Dodgy area of town I know but they had a whole lot of stuff there the last time I bought including vinyl sheets for signage which included reflective material. Give them a call and see awhat they got. Open from Mon - Fri only though.

Rather but the real deal from a safety equipment supplier like BOART MSA or North Safety Products. Those reflective bibs are industrial grade and built to last. By the time you bought a cheap one, dismantled it, taken a pattern, bought the material and the tape etc, it would have been worth your while to but the expensive one! (And quicker too!)
