And I see Porte is signed with Sky for next year. Sky is gonna be a real package to contend with in the Tours with Froome, Wiggo and Porte

Frooooom !!! It was a spectacular days racing.

It seems up in the air where he is going next year, his agent reckons his market value has tippled in the last day.

I reckon his stock has been climbing since the TT when he took the red jersey, and after yesterday, I reckon he could name his price. What's the odds on him going to Riis as a replacement for Contador when he gets banned?

This years Vuelta has really been great so far.

BTW where is Airbender - he is normally very active on these racing threads.

Hey, Nickc...

'Dale was formerly known as AirBender.

Every now and then, especially Spring, I change my ID.

---

I agree, the Vuelta has been exciting.

Vroem-vroem is really kicking azzzz and confusing the Sky strategy.

Only watched the last 2km unfortunately!!!!

Can anybody give us a rundown of the final climb...did Wiggins and Froome attack?

Really like Froome...hope he finds a way to get those 13 seconds!

Looks to me that the 2 stages that cost him was the TTT and the stage after the TT where he was in red...he probably lost the tour there.

Haha...

So you know, man, my allegiance is still firmly with the Liquigas-Cannondale squad.

Humble to the core, he will probably be so embarrassed by the overwhelming status he has achieved.

I reckon his attitude and approach as well as his selflessness is what gives him the success and has gained him respect and fans from all over.

He is one of the nicest guys anyone would want to meet.

Is ol' Wiggo still in with a chance

OR

Will Sky back Vroem-Vroem now?

1 and 3 on the podium won't be bad at all for Sky.

[i hope that Geox's Cobo takes it...]

Why not Froome ?

I like lesser known teams to come to the party.

Cobo seems like a cool dude too, like Vroome.
