Have a big "piece" 6" 357 Mag in a quick draw canvas colour coded holster which clips onto a velco'd strap around my steering pointing forward. Not so obvious? Filled hollow point home made rounds with a lesser load. Sort of equalizes the situation. Also have a throwing knife.....can peg at inside 4 meters and have the proverbial pepper spray. Under my bar I made a pvc pipe with sinkers attached to s/s fishing trace and this is the last line of defense. Tied this on with rubber and just a grab will break the rubber. Have not had to use them yet (touch wood) but have used them as a test. I know it adds weight but I would like to "do" some bikejackers in sometime. Atleast I will be ready and will not go down without a fight. No wife, no kids so what the hell.

Ok you guys, now it's your turn to shoot me down......

I am designing a mini paintball gun that will have a CO2 bomb similar to the one we use to pump tyres. It will have a wire stock and will be loaded with a solid rubber ball, a marker paintball with indelible dayglo orange paint and a ball filled with teargas. It will have a wire stock that when folding out will have also fold out the trigger. This is also the safety ie safe when folded ready when folded out. It will be a one shot weapon, as big a a medium pump light and effective.

Do you think there will be a market for this?

I think the idea is great. Anything helps but how quick can you be on the draw at speed? One handed operation? i don't think it will do enough damage.....I think there must be a few back up plans. What if you miss?

Does anyone know where I can get a good holster for my pistol that I would be able to use when I ride (I have a CZ 83, 9mm short). The holster I have is fine for day to day use but not great for the bike. Thanks.

Is your pistol in stainess steel or blued steel? Sweat is corrosive and could have an effect. You would also need quick access and it must be well concealed not to draw unneeccesary attention. I would suppose any holster that can attach with an adjustable belt around your waist and you carry place the pistol in the small of your back. Your CZ is nice and compact and could easily be concealed here. Any synthetic fabric pancake design holster that holds the weapon with a spring could work. Weapon retention would be paramount. You do not want to get home and the weapeon has gone lost!
