koukie Posted September 14, 2011 Share Very nice but somehow the frame looks to small for the setup. To many spacers and to long seatpost.
Wyatt Earp Posted September 14, 2011 Share Very nice but somehow the frame looks to small for the setup. To many spacers and to long seatpost. Koukie, you have just fallen in to the HUB trap, where people make silly comments based on pictures. The tube looks high as the bike is a small and has an extremely low standover. The seatpost has more than enough length to still go up, the spacers are excessive, the idiot who cuts a steerer tube low down because it "looks" right ,should be shot. Here is a tip, when one builds a new bike, you leave the steerer tube a bit longer, find your desired height, then you can remove spacers and cut again, otherwise someone will be on the hub asking how they can extend a too short steerer tube. People get carried away with overall height etc.etc.etc.We are all different, some have short inseam and a long torso, others have a long inseam and short torso, then you still have arm length to deal with. @Ricky R 45 k would be good going, it's sadly a bit more thanks to the selection of some specific components. Weight complete with two cups of sealant per wheel is 9.7 kg's. Yes it has too many gears, no it won't take 10 hours to do the Attakwas.

banna Posted September 15, 2011 Share Got mine last Saturday and I am in love Better make sure it sees some serious dirt, otherwise the mtb boogie man will get medieval on your ass. Better post another pic with the bike dirty within the next 24 hours, otherwise there will be trouble.

Niner Posted September 15, 2011 Share The bearing cap is tapered. So that creates the tapered look? But is that new from Niner? I have not seen that on their other bikes?
