She is now a far cry from the hungry tick infested pup that growled at me from under the log pile in Roodewal forest.When I attempted to hoist her onto my bike then it was like trying to balance a bag jelly on the cross bar, so she was left in the forest until I made it home and fetched the car. A lot of rescued dogs have the eating thing hardwired into them, after starving. They seem to be programmed to eat as much as they can. Just in case they starve again.
