Sorry to hear, Mons. It's difficult, but the best decision for him.

 

Had to do the same a few years back with my black moggy. Was a Hotel rescue, and I called him Nelson.

Shame man...Mine was also a rescue... other one is a restuarant feral rescue - was as wild as anything and had demonic nature but now a real honey. man these animals crawl into your heart and never budge once they there. xx

The one on the right looks annoyed!

i would be too if someone stuck a camera in my face while i'm trying to eat :-D

rotties scare me in general - one breed of dog I don't mess with.

But they are certainly stunning if you get to know them. Not quite sure I would want to be in the firing line of that pack though.....

Many years ago my then boyfriend bought home 2 rottie puppies and a rott / boxer cross - I was nervous as hell, though the one I fell hook line and sinker for - but I was always aware of the strength of the dog - even as pups they'd jump up and I'd almost fall over. Sadly we gave them away - maybe I would have gotten over my fear of them, but I still think they're beautiful - I just admire them from afar :-)
