Agree 100%!

Agree.

And I think the NFL player who started the gesture would not have wanted his gesture to be forced on anyone. It rings hollow when it is mandated by "management"

Sure, but Kaepernick is a vegan, so can we rely on anything he does?

I think CSA is trying to deflect unwanted attention from the revelations going on at the SJN hearings, specifically when their poster-boys are being caught with their "feets in their mouths".

Bit ironic that in doing so, they have effectively forced QdK out. Imagine in 30 years time the next SJN hearings and in some magical narnia-like world, people are equally outraged at his treatment.

QdK will be cancelled shortly, mark my words.

@TNT1 I am sure in 30 years time the people of 2051 will look back at the people of 2021 and think WTF was going with that lot???

Interestingly, he is getting some flak, which was expected, but also, from my reading, he is getting a lot of support from Indian supporters.

Think he will be just fine with future IPL earnings if Cricket SA decides to throw him under the bus.

Sadly, thats exactly why guys will say F it, and become free agents. But can we blame them?

I can't judge them.

Let them make a decent living if the relationship with the national body has broken down. ????

Can’t understand how CSA thinks it’s any better forcing a player to kneel in the name of “unity” against the way that player has personally negotiated the issue.  A serious case of cognitive dissonance and also stupendously idiotic imo.

Well, let judgement then fall on this Board of Directors that made this decision:

I know a couple of the people on this list personally and can almost agree that without a gun against their heads this would never have happened. I also know a couple previous members who would have taken glee in this debacle.
