Inland diving is not that great.

Basically, in Gauteng you have Bass lake and miracle waters.

Kosmo is right, best head to Moz, Sodwana or my favourite, ALiwal.

Bass Lake still have the bus and helicopter? Did my PADI course there last century.

You can always come and dive the cold southern oceans! Some good wrecks in the Cape and plenty shore dives around the peninsula.

Last time at Aliwal had a couple of Raggies visit us at a 5mt decomp stop, wasn't that much fun!

I used to work as OWSI at Umkomaas Lodge dive charters and Raggies at 5m safety stop is nice, saw them many times even at Raggie Cave, what's bad is when I dived Protea Banks at Shelly beach in 1996 and we got to see Hammerheads and Zambesi sharks during the accent from about 20m all the way up to 5m and we even saw them on the surface and yes, here you don't do any decompression/safety stops. You even get out of your bc before you hit surface:blink: I had to give up diving as well because of a car crash November 1996.:(

I need to have a wall clock repaired. Bought at Bucherer in Lucerne 15 years ago.

Any suggestions in Pretoria or Johannesburg area?

Two of my favourite things combined thanks to Swatch. Not the ideal watch I would go for.

But I couldn’t resist the Dunny.

hi guys,

anyone here that have used bidorbuy buying a watch? any comments or issues?

cheers

Depends on what you want to buy.

I'd stay away from any of the big brands at a bargain price.
